Parents as partners

Parents group designed to help parents who are struggling with conflict and stress in their parenting and relationships.

This programme has great results in:

  • improving your relationship and communication with your child's other parent
  • strengthening your family relationships and improving your child's wellbeing and success
  • helping you manage the challenges and stress of family

Co-parenting families with children from birth to 11 years old. Parents must be over 18 years of age. Your child must be resident in Westminster, Camden, Islington, Southwark, Greenwich or Lewisham.

The group is open to all parents whether you are still married to your child's other parent, living together, separated, divorced or have had your civil partnership dissolved.

The programme is designed for hard‐to‐reach, and vulnerable families. The group offers parents in these families a chance to foster more effective family relationships. Parents with experience of child protection services, domestic violence, mental health or drug and alcohol problems may also be able to attend. All parents are screened prior to participation, to ensure they will be able to benefit from the group sessions. The programme is also available to separated, divorced and LGBT parents, as long as both parents can commit to attending sessions and working together.

Both parents need to attend the group even, if you are no longer together as a couple
