Keeping well post birth

Wellbeing group for new mums aim to support those who are vulnerable or at risk of post natal depression. The groups:

  • promote awareness of the impact of post natal depression and stress in parenting and how this affects relationships within the family
  • discuss coping strategies that will include CBT, yoga and staying well plans
  • reduce social isolation through meeting others in similar circumstances and offer an introduction to children centre services
The group is an intervention in itself so we don't offer individual work in conjunction with the group; but we can refer you to psychological therapies if appropriate

For parents with children under 6 months.
