Child employment licences and permits

Child work permit

If you want to employ a young person between 13 and 16 years old, you must apply for a work permit.

Chaperone licences

You need a licence if you're appointed to protect children while they're modelling, performing on stage, or appearing in TV or film.

Body of Person Approval licence

Allows groups and organisations to have an overall licence for their performance. This means you do not need a licence for each individual child.

Child performance licence

You may need a child performance licence for any child taking part in a public performance, sporting event or modelling assignment.
