Reuse and Recycling Centre
General information
If you're a Southwark resident you can dispose of a wide range of unwanted household and garden items at the recycling centre for free. See our map on where we are (pdf, 143kb) for the Reuse and Recycling Centres Location. Commercial wastes of any kind are not accepted. Find a list of the waste types you can bring to the recycling centre.
You can visit the Reuse and Recycling Centre in a car, as a pedestrian or as a cyclist to dispose of residential waste only, from your own home.
When visiting the Reuse and Recycling centre, you should wear sturdy footwear (not sandals or open shoes). You should wear a face mask or covering for your own protection and that of other site users
All users of the service will be asked to show evidence that they are resident at a household address in Southwark to be able to use the service. If you do not have valid ID you will not be allowed access to the Reuse and Recycling Centre. When you visit, you must bring current valid ID information on arrival which shows your Southwark address, such as a current photo-card driving license and one of the following:
- current Council Tax bill
- recent utility bill
- recent bank statement
You must not visit the Recycling Centre if you have any symptoms of coronavirus
