Local support
The Southwark Wellbeing Hub can help find you the right support if you're struggling.
Southwark Disability Hub
Southwark Council are preparing to open a Disability Hub alongside national charity, KeyRing.
The new Southwark Disability Hub, launching in June 2025, is being developed in collaboration with local residents and partners to provide advice and opportunities for people with disabilities.
The hub will offer support through various channels, including a website, local meet-ups, phone and online appointments, and small group sessions. It will also coordinate short breaks for young people (aged 5-19+) including after school, holiday and weekend activities.
Community engagement activities will focus on improving health and wellbeing, reducing isolation, and promoting independence.
The hub aims to ensure that disabled people's voices are heard and will provide accessible information on community activities and services. Additionally, the KeyRing Networks will be expanded to support independent living for Southwark residents.
