Local elections 7 May 2026

Local council elections will take place for Southwark on Thursday 7 May 2026. 

Southwark is divided into 23 wards, with a total of 63 councillors to be elected. Voters will vote to elect 2 or 3 councillors in their ward.

The wards with 2 councillors are:

• Dulwich Hill
• Dulwich Village
• Dulwich Wood
• Peckham Rye
• St George’s

• Goose Green
• London Bridge & West Bermondsey
• Newington
• North Bermondsey
• North Walworth
• Nunhead & Queen’s Road
• Old Kent Road, Peckham
• Rotherhithe
• Rye Lane
• South Bermondsey
• St Giles
• Surrey Docks
