How to report concerns about fraud, bribery or corruption against the council.
If you suspect that someone is committing fraud, bribery or corruption against the council, we want to know about it.
Reporting your concerns will help us to:
- improve fraud detection
- maintain the integrity of public services
- ensure that resources are allocated fairly and efficiently
Benefits fraud
If you wish to report Housing Benefit, Tax Credit, Disability, or any other social security fraud, contact the Department for Work and Pensions National Benefit Fraud Helpline. You can:
- call 0800 854 4400 (textphone 0800 320 0512)
- report it online
- write to NBFH, PO Box 224, Preston, PR1 1GP

For fraud that is not related to benefits, you can use our reporting form. Please include as much detail as you can.
