The Mayor of Southwark
About Councillor Sunny Lambé, his role as Mayor, and how to get in touch.
The Mayor’s chosen charities
Councillor Lambé wishes to support the following local charity groups for the municipal year 2025 to 2026.
Bizzie Bodies
Bizzie Bodies is a community interest company based in SE16. It provides creative learning opportunities for children and young people who often have minimal access to such resources outside of school.
The Bizzie Bodies team believe the solution lies in creating opportunities to engage and connect, by offering a wide variety of activities centred around Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM).
These activities take part as term time clubs, half term and summer holiday camps, at family events and in their specially designated Tech and Creative Hub.
United Hearts
United Hearts believe everyone deserves to live free from fear, violence, and discrimination. Their mission is to raise awareness, provide vital support, and advocate for lasting change to end gender-based violence.
United Hearts are committed to empowering survivors through essential services such as counselling, shelter, legal aid, and medical care, helping them rebuild their lives with strength and resilience. They also focus on education and prevention. Through workshops, campaigns, and community programs, they challenge harmful norms, promote gender equality, and teach how to recognize and respond to violence.
King’s College Hospital Staff Wellbeing Initiative
The Mayor will also be supporting and working in conjunction with King’s College Hospital Staff Wellbeing Initiative.
