Southwark proof of age card
Southwark proof of age (SPA) card
The Southwark proof of age (SPA) card is London's first PASS approved multi-function proof of age card and is free to:
- Students in Southwark's schools and colleges aged 16 to 25
- Southwark residents aged 16 to 25
Under 25? Clubs, cinemas and shops selling age restricted products will routinely ask young people for proof age, so why not apply today.
How to get a SPA card
We work with local schools and colleges to issue cards but individual applications are also welcome.
For an application form please contact us stating your name and address, date of birth and school or college (if applicable).
Unfortunately we cannot offer a download form due to technical reasons at our card producers.
Where to use your SPA card
This multi-functional card is not just a proof of age card, it will give you many discounts around the borough. We are continually arranging various discounts for cardholders with local attractions and shops so please check our discounts page regularly.
Should you use your SPA card and be refused a sale or entry to a venue please advise us and we will investigate it for you.
SPA cards accepted as library cards
The SPA card can also be used as a library card, which enables you to take advantage of the services that libraries in Southwark have to offer - not just the loan of books, but also CDs, DVDs and surfing the net.
Southwark libraries are currently offering a free DVD rental when you first register your card with them - just take your SPA card and choose your DVD!
