If you need some extra help to get a job, the team of specialist employment advisors at Southwark Works can provide support to assist you in getting a job. The Southwark Works programme has been specifically designed for people who may need a little extra support to find and keep a job.

If you are out of work, you can get help to put together a CV, be shown how to undertake effective job searching, receive help to improve your interview techniques, as well as receive information and advice about training and getting work experience.

Our team of specialist employment advisors provide personal confidential support for unemployed residents affected by:

• Being long-term unemployed
• Learning difficulties
• Young people leaving council care
• Being an ex-offender with a history of drug or alcohol misuse
• Housing issues

• Low or no skills

The Southwark Works Office is based at Unit 239, Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre, London, SE1 6TE.

The opening times are Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 12:00pm and 2pm to 4pm.
