Revitalise Peckham Rye Park and Common

Peckham Rye Park is a historic grade 2 listed park and sits alongside Peckham Common. Revitalise Peckham Rye is an exciting project to provide purpose built facilities which support the park use.

The vision for the project is:

  • to design and build the best play area in Southwark by the café, offering a range of exciting play opportunities, drawing on best practice from across London
  • create a flexible and sustainable children’s playroom, alongside other managed play facilities for maximum efficiency, and in order to present a diverse offer for children and families within a beautiful park setting
  • to design and build flexible changing facilities, which support the use of the park

The project is managed by our regeneration team, who work alongside Parks and Open Spaces, Youth Services and the Play Service. The project is funded by Olympic Legacy and Council Capital funding.
