Southwark Libraries are celebrating learning and learners in all their diversity, inspiring thousands of people to try something new during Adult Learners' Week, beginning 12 May 2012.

Adult Learner's Week promotes the benefits of all kinds of learning, whether it is for fun or leading to a qualification. Southwark Libraries are once again making a major contribution to celebrate the 21st Adult Learners' Week in 2012.

This year the programme in Southwark is as varied as ever, providing a range of opportunities to try something new. From glass painting and belly dancing to yoga, family history and knitting, there's plenty to enjoy during Adult Learners' Week 2012.

For details of events in your area either pick up a brochure from any Southwark library or visit the Adult Learners' Week website.
