A cavalcade of poets for Southwark's Rhyme and Reason poetry festival

Published Wednesday, 28 September 2011

Patience Agbabi

A fantastic line-up of poets including Michael Rosen, Patience Agbabi, and Paul Lyalls is just part of Rhyme and Reason 3, the annual Southwark libraries poetry festival running from six to 14 October

There's an opportunity for aspiring poets to take part in an open mic event at Camberwell Library and a Poetry Slam at Peckam Library. The Poetry platform will also be touring round various libraries during the festival for anyone who feels brave enough to hop on and read out their favourite poems.

For a full programme of events please visit your nearest Southwark library or contact mike.allport@southwark.gov.uk on 020 7525 1570.
