Schools Cricket Programme

The Schools Cricket Programme was designed to introduce youngsters to the game and encourage them to get active.
Around fifty schools, 1,200 children aged ten to eleven years old, took part in the Schools Cricket Programme.
The programme has been running for 8 weeks and ended on 21 June with a series of competitions between 8 schools. The shools, each representing a community council, were Goose Green, Victory, Boutcher, Comber Grove, Camelot, St Francesca Cabrini, Albion and St Georges.
The final was won by Goose Green who will go forward to represent Southwark at the Surrey Cricket regional finals on 23 June at Epsom College.
