Southwark: free health event

Southwark Health and Social Care (NHS Southwark and Southwark Council) and Thames Reach are pleased to announce an event for Southwark residents to improve their health.
The 'Spring into health' event will take place on Thursday 22 April 2010, between 10am and 4pm at 346 Camberwell New Road , London , SE5 0RW .
The event will deliver a range of health checks and advice from health improvement specialists. The Spring into health event will deliver to the residents of Southwark advice on healthy eating, stop smoking, physical exercise, well-being and sexual health information.
There will also be free NHS health checks for people aged between 40 and 74 which includes blood pressure, body mass index, cholesterol, diabetes and waist measurement.
To bring a community spirit and sense of fun, Spring into health will also feature live music, food and a raffle with prizes to be won.
