Volunteers planting trees

Volunteers Week is a national event, held every year from 1 to 7 June, to raise awareness for volunteering across the UK.

Volunteers are key to supporting communities around Southwark. There are over 1,600 volunteering groups across the borough and you could make a huge difference by giving a little of your time to help support them. There are many activities you can get involved with, such as helping the police cadets, working with children, volunteering in sport, becoming a young volunteer, and even volunteering on organised group walks.

Get involved today and help make Southwark a better place to live, work and play.
