Easter activities and events in Southwark promise fun for the family and children of all ages and interests, with a wide range of activities taking place across the borough.
Family fun
Find out what free family activities the Cuming museum has planned over the Easter holidays from storytelling, creating maps and explore and play.
The mobile play team will be at the following venues during the Easter holidays. Come along for some free play and lots of fun and games.
Go along to one Southwark's children centre's stay and play sessions with a range of outdoor and indoor activities.
Make friends, learn something new and feel invigorated at Blackfriars Settlement day clubs. Activities include craft workshops, yoga, Tai Chi, crossword puzzles, singing, dancing and film matinees.
Join in the Easter holiday fun at Ivydale children's centre with music and play. For families fun for under five years.
Libraries
Head for your local library for lots of free activities on an Easter theme. Solve the puzzles at a cracking Easter egg hunt, listen to story telling or join in a singalong at Brandon Library, our library of the month.
Join Easter-themed stories and rhymetimes at Rotherhithe Library, where you can also make nests and bonnets at sessions throughout the holidays. Or get crafty at Nunhead Library's bunny making afternoon for the over threes.

Parks and open spaces

Drama and dance
Take a trip to one of Southwark's theatres, and see one of many productions on over of the holidays, from Macbeth to The Three Musketeers there are lots to choose from.
