Camberwell Christmas market kicks starts Southwark's festive season
Residents are being urged to make the most of Southwark's Christmas markets, which kick off in style this weekend at Camberwell.
The Christmas market will feature up to 20 arts and crafts stalls, as well as the same number of food stalls.
Cllr Barrie Hargrove, cabinet member for transport, environment and recycling at Southwark Council, said:
"There's no better way of getting into the Christmas spirit than by popping along to a local market for food, presents or just to soak up the atmosphere. We've got some wonderful markets here in the borough and Camberwell is definitely the place to be this Saturday."
Also there will be a choir and face painters, and discounted mulled wine and Irish coffee, while stocks last.
Camberwell Christmas market starts at 10am on Saturday 11 December.
