London Bridge BID renewed

Team London Bridge has held a successful ballot to renew the London Bridge Business Improvement District (BID).
The ballot closed on 4 November and the formal announcement of the results can now be made. The new term will start at 1 April 2011 (current term finishing on 31 March 2011) and will bring in BID levy over the next five years to deliver a range of services to the commercial and trading district covered by the BID.
The vote was up from last time at 77% by number and 89% by rateable value (first ballot 71% and 78% respectively).
They required a positive vote of over 50% votes cast also representing over 50% aggregate rateable value of the votes cast.
The council is required by BIDs regulations to be the Ballot Holder for BIDs.
