Children aged nought to four years will receive a Beano sticker book. For those of you who are aged 4 to 11, read six books and receive Beano stickers, a certificate and a medal. You will also be entered into a prize draw to win headphones or a mini tablet device.

Teen read challenge is for young people aged 12 to 17

Once you read four books you will be entered into a prize draw to win Beats headphones or a £20 Amazon voucher. You must be a member of Southwark libraries to take part in the Summer Reading Challenge.

Multi-sensory storytelling

Children will love these storytelling sessions, specially developed for children with additional needs. Library staff use multi-sensory props to tell stories and at the end of the session all children receive mischief makers prizes and a certificate to take home.
