Book a library computer for free
Southwark's libraries have over 180 computers available for you to surf the internet and use Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Publisher for free. We also have facilities for scanning and printing for a small charge. See our current library charges.
How to book
You can book a PC for up to two hours each day at the following libraries:
- Blue Anchor Library
- Camberwell Library
- Canada Water Library
- Dulwich Library
- John Harvard Library
- Peckham Library
You can book a PC for up to one hour each day at the following libraries:
- Brandon Library
- East Street Library
- Grove Vale Library
- Kingswood Library
- Newington Temporary Library
- Nunhead Library
We recommend you book in advance. You can book up to seven days in advance.
- Online bookings: you can book a PC online. Please have your library membership number or your guest name ready
- Book in person: visit any of our libraries and our staff will be happy to book a PC for you. More information on library locations and opening hours
Guest membership for non library members
If you're not a library member you can still book a PC. If you visit one of our libraries, our staff will be happy to set up a guest membership for you. We will require one proof of ID and your name and address details.
Computer access for people with visual impairments
Every public computer offers access to Dolphin Supernova, which allows screen magnification and audio assistance for people who are visually impaired.
We also have free Wi-Fi available in ten libraries. Please visit our Free Wi-Fi page for more details.
