Services affected by Walworth Town Hall fire
Due to a fire in Walworth Town Hall on Monday 25 March, the Walworth One Stop Shop, Cuming Museum and Newington Library are closed. Alternative locations are now available for many affected services.
Rotherhithe Library
Rotherhithe Library closed permanently on Saturday 29 October 2011.
The new Canada Water Library, has now opened and is just a few minutes away from the site of the old Rotherhithe Library.

Any items still on loan from Rotherhithe Library can be returned to any Southwark library. No charges will be made for late returns.
You can use your current Southwark Library card at any Southwark Council library including Canada Water Library. Thank you for all of your support and custom. We look forward to welcoming you to the new Canada Water Library.
