You can prevent pest problems by following a few simple tips.

Dispose of waste, especially food, properly and in covered containers such as wheelie bin
Don't leave unwanted soft furnishing (e.g. old carpets, sofas etc.) in your garden or on the street. Use our bulky waste collection service to have these items collected for free
Vacuum floors right up to the skirting boards
Keep kitchen work surfaces and cupboards clean
Store foodstuffs in containers with lids
