Tre Whyte - Burgess Park BMX

Welcome to Burgess Park BMX Track

A national standard BMX race track opened in 2013. The track is located in Burgess Park at the junction of Albany Road and Wells Way. A varying programme of use is on offer to suit riders of all ages and abilities.

  • open riding (rock up and ride) for accredited riders
  • school activities
  • novice and expert BMX coaching
  • school holiday club
  • Peckham BMX club
  • women's only coaching
  • strider bike sessions

The facility is available to hire for:

  • birthday parties
  • children's parties
  • corporate events / team building 
  • groups
  • stag do
  • film location / filming

During 2015 the track hosted several major events including; the London Youth Games, a round of the BMX south region series  and rounds of the British Cycling national race series.

The council has put a significant investment into the development of this National Standard BMX track and has received supported funding by these investors: British Cycling, Mayor of London's office, London Marathon Charitable Trust, Southwark Council’s Cleaner Green Safer programme, S106 funding and the Olympic Legacy Fund.
