Shaping the future of Burgess Park
In 2016 and 2017 we will be spending £3million on improving the south western area of the park. We would love to hear your thoughts on the plans which are available to download, or come along to one of our public exhibitions in the park. We’re holding them until 14 June at the Old Library on Wells Way, and at the Sports Centre (open from 9am to 10pm) and Tennis Centre within the park (open from 12noon to 9pm). An additional exhibition will be held during half term (23-31 May) and at weekends at Chumleigh Gardens until 14 June (open from 12noon to 5pm).
We've organised a special event (near the parks' tennis courts) on 31 May - from 11am to 4pm with fun and exciting activities taking place throughout the day. Come along, it's a great chance to enjoy the park, view our proposed plans and give us your feedback.
Once you have seen the plans please fill in our online survey or call 020 7525 5133 if you would like a paper copy.
We would love to hear your thoughts on our vision, as well as which parts of the park you think should be prioritised for investment in the future. You can also put your thoughts in writing and send them to John Wade, Southwark Council, PO BOX 64529, London, SE1P 5LX, or email your comments to email@example.com.
