Council plan

Our council plan, agreed in July 2011, is our promise of what we will deliver as a council.  

It outlines a new relationship between the council and our residents, built on trust, openness and transparency in all we do. The plan:

• sets out the Leader's vision including the six key principles that underpin it
• Describes the 10 fairer future promises that demonstrate how we will achieve that vision
• Provides a priority statement from each cabinet member

We have now produced an interim performance report, our first report back on progress against the promises and objectives we set in the council plan. You can also read more detailed interim performance report.

We'll report back again at the end of the financial year with a full update on the first year of the council plan.
