Inspector's Report
Canada Water Inspector's Report
We received the Final Inspector's report on 15 December 2011.
Prior to this, the Inspector's Report was sent to us for 'Fact Checking' on 22 November 2011. The Council sent a response to the Planning Inspectorate on 29 November 2011.
The conclusion of the Inspector's binding report was that the AAP was found SOUND subject to minor changes. The changes required to make the AAP sound are set out in Appendix A of his final report. The factual updates and minor amendments are set out in Appendix B.
The Inspector also proposed two further changes that he considered were necessary to ensure that the AAP is sound. These are that the Quebec Industrial Estate, 24-28 Quebec Way, and the vacant car park to the rear of 24-28 Quebec Way should be in the core area and the area around Needleman Street should be in an urban density zone. These changes are set out in his final report.
The Inspector's report is binding.
In advance of the adoption, we have produced an interim final text version of the AAP which includes all the Inspectors changes.
