Respond to your offer of a school place
-
If you wish to accept your child's offer of a school place you do not need to inform us. Your offer will be automatically accepted and forwarded to the allocated school after 16 March 2012.
-
If you are rejecting your child's offer of a school place, you must complete the slip attached to your offer letter and return it to Southwark Council's school admissions team by 16 March 2012 so that other children may be offered the place. You must also inform us in writing of any other alternative suitable arrangement for education that has been made for your child.
-
Failure to notify us of an alternative arrangement for your child's education by 16 March 2012 will result in your child's name being forwarded to the school that has been offered/allocated in their offer letter.
The Department for Education website offers advice and information to parents on a wide range of school related issues. The School Admissions Code and the School Admission Appeals Code can also be found on this website.
