Late applications

What happens if your application is late?

Applications received after 31 October 2011 will not be considered for a place until after the initial offer of places on 1 March 2012.

However, under exceptional circumstances Southwark Council's school admissions team can accept a late application where it considers there are exceptional circumstances. For example, if you have moved into Southwark between 31 October 2011 and 18 December 2011 your application may be accepted subject to valid proof. Confirmation of the move including the date will be required.

All other late applications received after 31 October 2011 will not be considered for a school place until after the initial offer of places on 1 March 2012.

To apply for a school place you will need to complete an application form. These are available to download or call the school admissions team on 0207 525 5337 to request a copy. Find out more information about applying for a secondary school place.

Late applications must be submitted by post to: School admissions team, 4th floor, children's services, Southwark Council, PO Box 64529, London SE1P 5LX.
