Applying for a primary school place
Information about applying
If you are a Southwark resident you must apply through Southwark Council's school admissions team even if you would like to apply to a school outside of Southwark.
If you live in another borough you must complete the common application form for the borough in which you live even if you would like to apply to a school in Southwark.
You must also complete a supplementary form if the school you have listed as one of your preferences requires this.
The supplementary form will be available from the school and must be completed and returned directly to the school. Please check the individual deadline date for returning the supplementary form with each school.
Where both the CAF and SIF are required, applications may be invalid or your chance of a place reduced unless both the forms have been completed, signed and received at the correct addresses by the closing dates.
