Independent Travel Training

The independent training bus is run once a month by the road safety team in partnership with the Metropolitan Police, training students with special needs how to use buses safely and how to respond to situations that may occur whilst travelling on public transport. 

Time and location of the Bus

Dates for 2011 are:

• 8 June
• 13 July
• 10 August
• 14 September
• 12 October
• 9 November
• 14 December

The morning session runs from 10.15am to 12 noon. The afternoon session is 12.30pm to 2pm. The training is held at Humphrey Street bus stand (behind Tesco, Old Kent road).
