Free exercise classes for older adults
These classes are fun and include controlled exercises for the whole body, unless otherwise stated, using a chair for support. The classes are made up of exercises to:

Strengthen muscles and improve joint mobility

Improve balance

Improve coordination

Reduce aches and pains
-
Improve overall wellbeing
They should help you do every day things better like getting up from a chair, opening a jar and tying your shoe laces.

All the classes are free of charge so come along and try them out.
Please note: free swimming no longer exists but over 60s can swim for 60p at Fusion leisure centres in Southwark after buying a £2.80 concessions Leisure Axess card. Please download a copy of the latest Silver Active brochure for more details.

- Mondays 11am to 12noon - Seated exercise
- Mondays 1pm to 2pm - Tai Chi (seated and standing)
- Tuesdays 11am to 12noon - music therapy seated exercise
- Thurdays 11am to 12noon - Aerobics for the more active older person
