Multi sport sessions
The Southwark Community Games provides a year-round programme of multi-sport coaching and competition for children in Southwark aged eight to 16.
The coaching takes place at estate and community based venues as well as within schools. Coaching sessions are based around the eight Community Council areas within Southwark.
Coaching sessions
A programme of multi sports coaching at community venues will be taking place across Southwark this year. Sessions are exciting and free of charge and will take place from 16 January until 30 March. The information below shows all sessions that are programmed in for each week of the programme.
North of the borough
- Monday 5pm to 7pm at Tabard Gardens astroturf, Tabard St, SE1 (in partnership with Millwall Community Scheme)
- Monday 6pm to 7.30pm girls only football at Millwall Lions Centre, Zampa Rd, SE16 3LN (in partnership with Millwall Community Scheme)
- Tuesday 4.40pm to 5.40pm at Lorrimore Square cage, off Portland Street, SE17
- Tuesday 5pm to 6pm at four squares pitch, Layard Square / Drummond Rd, SE16
- Wednesday 5pm to 6pm at Bacons College, Timber Pond Road, SE16 6AT
- Wednesday 5pm to 6pm at Mint Street Adventure Play Centre, Southwark Bridge Rd, Lant St, SE1 1QP
- Thursday 4pm to 5pm at Ellen Brown Play Centre, Spa Park, 145 Grange Rd, SE1 3EU
- Thursday 4.45pm to 5.45pm at Salmon Youth Club, Old Jamaica Road, SE16 4TE (session for eight to eleven year olds)
