Dulwich

We invest in a range of projects across Dulwich that have a positive impact on the local community.

North Cross Road alleywayHeather Burrell custom made gate for North Cross Road alleyway

Local residents were worried that criminals and vandals could easily access an alleyway leading to people's homes.

By installing a custom-made gate designed by local metal worker, Heather Burrell, the problem has been solved and has added an attractive new feature in North Cross Road.

This was a partnership project with local business owners and residents who have taken on the maintenance of the gate and entry system.

Demonstration vegetable gardenDemonstration vegetable garden, Rosebery Lodge, Dulwich Park

A group of local gardeners who live near Dulwich Park, applied for help to create a demonstration vegetable garden behind Rosebery Lodge in Dulwich Park.

With the award, paths and raised beds were built. The aim is to educate and encourage people to grow their own fruit and vegetables.

Since completion, the project has been a great success.
