Camberwell

We invest in a wide range of projects across Camberwell that have a positive impact on the local community.

Dog Kennel Hill woodsOpening event celebrating improvements in biodiversity at Dog Kennel Hill woods

The biodiversity of the woodland area at Dog Kennel Hill was improved by planting native species and clearing the pathways.

Native trees and shrubs were planted, and bird boxes, bat boxes and an insect hotel were installed to encourage wildlife to visit the woodland.

An opening event took place to celebrate the project, where park visitors were invited to take part in insect hunts and build bird boxes.

Comber Grove school gardensCommunity garden at Comber Grove Primary school

This project set out to create a community garden area at Comber Grove primary school. The pupils now have an allotment area of planters and benches.

Walworth Garden Farm worked with the children to create information boards to help the children learn about what they can grow in their new garden.
