Ellen Brown Music Tech

This is a unique music project that introduces music technology to children and young people. The project was created to illustrate the basics of music production by using advance computer software. The software will give children and young people the tools to make music of a high standard, in a safe, fun, friendly environment.

For young members, we are currently using Fruity Loops 9 Producer edition a computer music sequencer and sound generator. Children as young as eight can learn to complie and compose a basic musical track on this software. For the more experienced members, we use Cubase Vst and Reason.

Newcomers are trained and encouraged to work together as a team. They will song-write, compose and record their own music in preparation for CD burning. They will also contribute to EBMTs annual CD.

Group Bookings

The Project is available for group bookings to various organisations including child centres, schools and youth projects.
