Surrey Docks watersports centre

Ever wanted to learn how to sail? Does kayaking rock your boat? Then Surrey Docks Watersports Centre is the place to go.

Having just gone through a £2.39m re-furbishment programme there is now something for everyone including a fully equipped gym, fitness studios, a club room for sailing courses and functions and wet and dry changing rooms. The centre re-opened on 10 February 2010.

Consultation report

In August 2008, the council conducted a four week consultation with residents of Surrey Docks and Rotherhithe.  We wanted to understand what which facilities would encourage them to either use the centre for the first time or become a more regular user. 

The consultation report provides an overview of the responses and answers the questions that were frequently raised by residents.
