Professional health workers parking permits
Professional health workers permits are used by medical and health professionals when making home visits to patients. The permit entitles the holder to park in certain restricted parking areas. Please note that the permit is not to be used by medical professionals as a convenient method of parking near their place of work.
You can only apply for the permit if your profession is listed below. If your profession is not shown in one of the groups below then you are not eligible to apply, though may contact parking services to see if your role may be added.
Permit costs
The permits are valid for 12 months.
- Professional health workers permit is for doctors, midwives and district nurses, health visitors, physiotherapists, mobile opticians and occupational therapists.
The permits cost £125.00 for a twelve month period.
An admin fee of £14.50 applies to process any changes made to the permit or refund.
