March 2011
A review session was held following the completion of the core strategy examination hearings. The potential for a wider review session involving the Mayor of London's office, other boroughs, interest groups and residents was discussed and the Inspector raised this with the planning inspectorate.
The planning inspectorate has recently met London First to discuss their experience of the London Plan examination in public. This was a very useful session which facilitated an informal discussion about ways we can share experience, learn lessons and improve the examination process.
Following this, the inspectorate is currently giving some consideration to holding a wider session to engage interested parties in discussion on both the London Plan examination and the 24 core strategies which have been examined (including those in progress) for the London boroughs.

February 2011
The Core Strategy Inspector's Report is now available to the public. This will be a material consideration in decision making.
January 2011
The Inspectors report was received by the council on 28 January 2011. The council will fact check the report for two weeks before it is released to the public.

As requested by the Inspector, we have submitted further evidence supporting the density policies of the Core Strategy. All those on the mailing list were notified that they had three weeks for comment, until 18 November 2010.

The planning inspector anticipated his report would be published prior to 15 October 2010. This has been delayed to enable the submission of further clarifying information from the council. A revised date for publication will be issued as soon as possible.
A timetable will be issued in December for the report. We will update the website as soon as we have the date confirmed.
