On 26 March 2010, we submitted the draft core strategy to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government. The Secretary of State has appointed an inspector who will examine the core strategy to ensure that it is legally compliant and also check that it is effective, justified and consistent with national policies and the Mayor of London's development strategy (the London Plan).
