Adult education in IT
Adult education in IT
Lifelong learning
New IT Facilities, including laptops and associated IT equipment, have been purchased to support learning and development in IT for adults.
The section 106 agreement attached to the Bankside Mix development previously known as Bankside 123, has enabled £30,000 to be used for upgrading IT Suites at Friars and Charles Dickens Primary Schools in Borough and Bankside. This funding has been provided to be used to increase adult education resources within schools in the local area and encourage life long learning.
The intended outcome of this project is that by providing IT equipment and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) training, groups of adults will improve their ICT skills. This will also equip the participants for the challenges they face in life and at work.Adult ICT sessions
