More London Section 106 Agreement
More London is a large mixed use development. It transformed the derelict and blighted riverside in North Bermondsey into 185,000sqm of office and retail space and created in excess of 20,000 jobs.
In 1999 an innovative section 106 agreement was signed as part of planning permission for the More London masterplan. The agreement enabled the delivery of an estimated £11m worth of improvements around the site. These improvement projects have led to a steep change in the success, appearance, and confidence in the Riverside Ward area.
