Phase 1a
Phase 1a is located to the south west corner of the Aylesbury Estate and is divided into four development sites: A, C, B/E and D. Take a look at the map showing details of phase 1a.
We are working with L&Q, our development partner for phase 1a, in regenerating this part of the estate.
We are committed to providing a high quality development, which meets the current sustainability and accessibility criteria along with a number of wheelchair friendly and up to four bedroom homes.
Phase 1a sites
Site A - A total of 52 new homes and a new resource centre replacing the Aylesbury day centre have been successfully completed in Spring 2011. Residents, including former Aylesbury residents, have moved in the new flats.
Site C - 18 homes were completed in April 2012. We also nominated tenants from the estate for 15 out of the 18 units. The remaining three will be offered as private for sale unit.
Sites B/E - 131 new homes are currently being built and they are due for completion in October 2012. 83 out of 131 units will be private for sale.
Site D - 60 new homes will be completed in early 2013. Some of the units face the refurbished Burgess Park.
