Fair access

The purpose of a fair access protocol is to ensure that children, especially the most vulnerable, who do not have access to education are offered a place at an appropriate school as quickly as possible.

All schools and academies within Southwark must participate in Southwark's fair access protocol.

In accordance with the School Admissions Code 2010, children who are allocated to a school under the fair access protocol must take precedence over those on a waiting list or awaiting an appeal.

For further information please view southwark's fair access protocol 2010/11 and southwark's fair access procedure 2010/11.
