Children's services inspections
Southwark's children and families' trust self- evaluation
Southwark's children and families' trust produces an annual self-assessment, which sets out our achievements and challenges over the year. It is submitted to Ofsted as part of the inspector's annual evaluation of our performance.

Comprehensive area assessment
This assessment regime was abolished in May 2010. It had been designed to assess how well local services work together to improve outcomes for local people, and the effectiveness of individual organisations in delivering those outcomes.
For details of Southwark's last assessment, go to the Audit Commission website.
Joint area review
The joint area review was a single coordinated inspection of all publicly funded services for children and young people within a local area.
The last review was in 2008. It was replaced by the comprehensive area assessment.
