Europe's biggest Latin American festival

Carnaval del Pueblo is held during the first weekend of August, this annual one day carnival celebrates music, dance and culture from nineteen Latin American countries.

All communities within London come together to share this vibrant cultural experience. There is plenty of entertainment with live acts such as salsa DJs and different stages for almost each Latin American country, such as the Brazillian stage.

The markets, with a huge range of Latin American, Caribbean and Western food and drinks alongside a selection of arts and crafts from the region, are always a festival highlight.

The spectacular carnival procession travels through the streets to Burgess park, bringing crowds of people out to line the pavement and catch a glimpse of the colourful costumes and outfits.
