Big Dance

Big Dance was initiated in 2006 by the Mayor of London in partnership with Arts Council England, as a Legacy Trust UK project. The biannual festival is pan London and celebrates dance in all its styles and forms. 

In 2006 and 2008 the Southwark arts service provided a day of dance acts at the Scoop, More London called the A to Z of Dance, and joined forces in 2010 with Lambeth to present the Lambeth and Southwark A to Z of Dance.

Big Dance Bus

For Big Dance 2012, in the lead up to the London Olympics, we will be inviting dance groups and organisations to take in the biannual celebrations of dance, in Southwark.

Lambeth and Southwark dance network
