Walworth Road SPD
We have prepared an SPD for the northern part of Walworth Road. The area includes
- 120 to 138 Walworth Road (the former petrol station and Burger King)
- John Smith House
- the vacant site on the corner of Amelia Street and Robert Dashwood Way
The SPD provides guidance on
- appropriate land uses, such as residential retail and community uses
- building heights
- residential densities
- design guidance setting how development should fit in and respond to listed buildings
- section 106 planning contributions
The SPD was consulted on between 14 March 2008 and 25 April 2008. The document was changed following consultation and it was sent to Planning Committee on 10 September 2008 for their comments and Council Executive on 26 September 2008 for adoption.
