Health and safety in schools

The protection of our service users and your own safety is our top priority. Here we detail our responsibilities towards ensuring the safety of our staff, clients and pupils. We also provide guidance on your responsibilities to protect yourself, other staff, clients and pupils in your care.

Children's services health and safety policy

Details the responsibilities we all have in  managing health and safety within Children's Services. Detailed information on what to do to fully comply with the policy and legislation is provided by guidance notes and other supporting documentation.

Health and safety of pupils on school visits

School visits provide pupils with a range of learning and developing experiences that would be otherwise impossible.

Incident or accident reporting

It is important to report all accidents/incidents. Any serious injury, or any incident where time is lost or when a member of the public or pupils/clients are taken from the site to hospital, should be reported to us by telephone on 020 7525 3808 as soon as possible.
