Dulwich Picture Gallery

In Dulwich you have a wealth of wide green open spaces, art treasures and good places to eat right on your doorstep. Dulwich Park and Sydenham Hill Woods combine to create an effect of being in the countryside, even though they are only five miles from central London.

Dulwich Picture Gallery houses one of the world's most important collections of European old master paintings of the 17th and 18th centuries.

Herne Hill Velodrome is one of the best known cycling tracks in Britain. It was built in 1892 and is the last remaining venue from the 1948 Olympic Games still in active use.

Lordship Lane in East Dulwich has a thriving nightlife.

Dulwich Library provides free internet and word processing facilities, and also photocopying facilities. It runs three reading groups, one for adults, one for teenagers and one for children. There is also a homework help club and baby and toddler sessions.

Dulwich Leisure Centre has a swimming pool and gym and offers sessions in yoga, gymnastics, martial arts, dance, aerobics and aqua aerobics. The hall is available for private hire.
